Video Pitch for Sundance/Youtube Lab

This is the 5-minute video pitch for "Paco Takes On," currently in the final round of adjudication for the Sundance/YouTube's New Voices Lab (Nov. 2016)

Synopsis: To pay for the production of his first mix-tape, an aspiring Cuban-American rapper uses his grandmother's connections to land jobs for which he's woefully unqualified. When every first day inevitably ends with a polite request that he never return, our impossibly optimistic hero forges ahead in his journey to become the next "Mr. Worldwide" (aka Pitbull).

TITTY BOY (Fall 2016 Release):

An excerpt from "Titty Boy," (currently being edited), Larry Powell's Black Lives Matter-inspired adaptation of the classic children's book "Are You My Mother?" After workshops at The Lark and the Classical Theatre of Harlem, "Titty Boy" has been adapted for screen with a distinctly artistic flare, complete with black and white cinematography and direct address performances.  It follows Sparrow, a young Black man, on his journey to find his mother's milk. Along the way, he meets "Cat," a cat-calling Latin corner thumper suffering from "stage-four cat-calldonia,"  a permanent condition wherein his catcalls turn into violent raps, which will soon take Cat's life.  

LOW TIDE IN SERF CITY - "The Agency"

The dark comedy  Low Tide In Serf City (In post-production slated for a Fall 16/Spring 17 release) follows Doyle (Nick Ducassi) and Nikita (Miraj Grbic - Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol), an unlikely pair that steals, swindles, and scams in order to raise money to free a human-trafficking victim. In this clip, "The Agency," Nikita has broken into the mansion of a wealthy former CIA operative, who believes Nikita is a Russian spy who's finally come to kill him. Doyle, realizing the house is in foreclosure, thinks quick and interrupts the stand-off by claiming that they're creditors who've come to repossess the former CIA operative's possessions.

LOW TIDE IN SERF CITY - "Bathroom"

 In this clip, "Bathroom," Doyle (Nick Ducassi) helps Mila, a just-freed human trafficking victim, with the burns on her hand.
